SocalGamers - East Chapter
We are a group of gamers in the Southern California
area. We play virtually any game, Whether it is a Euro, Party, or
Wargame, as long as it's fun. If you are worried about showing up
because you don't know anyone, DON'T BE. Just ask for Karl, Tim, or
Steve, and we'll introduce you to people, and help you get into a
game. We're pretty friendly, and want more people to show up! If there
is a particular game you want to play, then join the mailing list
and let people know you want to play so they can read the rules. If
you just show up hoping someone will play the game you want, you may
be disappointed, and no one wants that!
Some events will get you a chance to play certain
types of games more, such as:
Montclair meetings- Some Wargames, Some Euros, it depends on the crowd,
from 11 am until around 9pm. Check EVENTS page for dates.
Studio City Meeting - Some Wargames, Some Euros, it depends on the
crowd, from 1pm-10 pm, check EVENTS page for dates.
Conventions - The bigger crowds here mean that usually you can play
what you want in open gaming, even if it's not on the schedule.
Many of our members play every type of game, so if
you have questions contact one of us below, and we'll see what we
can do to help. Miniatures, CCG's, other Collectible games, and RPG's
are also played at some events, so feel free to email us with info
on those types of games as well.

Twilight Imperium 3rd Ed, Saboteur, Sword of Rome, Star Fleet Battles,
Viking Fury, For the People, We the People, Sword of Rome, Napoleonic
Wars, Hammer of the Scots, Tigris & Euphrat, Settlers of Catan,
We the People, Wings of War, Monty's Gamble, Empire of the Sun, Ticket
to Ride Europe, Shadows over Camelot, Betrayal at House on the Hill,
For the People, Hannibal, Starfarers of Catan, Carcassonne the Castle,
Anno 1503, Age of Mythology, Attack!, Age of Napoleon, Bang, Ticket
to Ride, Union Pacific, Vanished Planet, San Juan, Ra, Advanced Civilization,
Wellington, 7 Ages, Caylus, and several more just in the last few
months.
