This is a listing of special non-repeating events that may be of interest. These include the gaming conventions and games days held in the local area . These are events that are not exclusive to SoCal Gamers members and may incur an entry fee and other expenses.

26 March : SoCal Games Day 45: Southern California's Games Day is a full day of convention-style open gaming. They play all sorts of strategy games: mostly German games, but also some abstract boardgames, Family Games, and Card Games. 27-30 May : GAMEX 2011: Strategicon is the local board gaming convention in Los Angeles. It is held three times a year and consists of a wide range of board gaming, miniatures and roleplaying events. This is a listing of regular SoCalGamers gaming events. We meet at local game stores on regular days of every month. The yahoo group message board is used to discuss what games we want to play and coordinate things in general.
